September Family of the Month: The Burrows

Danny, Rebecca, Noah (17) and Jacob (15) Burrows moved to San Francisco from Melbourne, Australia 2 years ago. Both boys attend The Jewish Community High School (and love it!) 

After moving here, they began looking for a community that would be a good fit. CBS came up in many conversations. They attended High Holidays here after Liz Noteware and Angie Dalfen encouraged them to give CBS a try. They loved it immediately and also found quite a few other friends who are members.

  • What is your favorite Beth Sholom event? they are yet to experience them all, but have really enjoyed some of the learning opportunities and special events/sessions.

  • What they love most about Beth Sholom is the real sense of community - people are very friendly and there is a real diversity of members.

  • The Burrows’ favorite Jewish holiday, food or family tradition? They love celebrating many of the festivals and hosting family and friends for the Seder, Rosh Hashanah and Chanukah. Having a table full of great people and great food makes them happy.
