Refugee Shabbat Lunch and Learn with Danny Grossman

We are thrilled to welcome Danny Grossman for a Kiddush Lunch and Learn at ~12:15 p.m. following Shabbat services on Saturday, March 1.

Danny Grossman is currently the Board Vice Chair of HIAS. He previously served in the U.S. Foreign Service as a diplomat overseas and at the Department of State, with a focus on human rights, particularly Soviet Jewry. He later founded Wild Planet Entertainment where he was CEO for 18 years. He went on to become the CEO of The San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund. Danny has volunteered extensively, including as board chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council, Brandeis Hillel Day School, Joshua Venture, Stand for Children, and the Rosenberg Foundation. He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and received his B.A. in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University. Grossman, along with his wife, Linda Gerard, and their two sons, Noah and Jonah, currently reside in Northern California.
